In the latest Canary version of Google Chrome desktop, artificial intelligence (AI) powered elements have been discovered in the browser history search section. Now it will be much easier to find websites you’ve browsed in the past. Here are the details…
Google Chrome AI-powered history search is here
Google Chrome is developing a new AI-powered history search feature to make searching your browser history easier. This new feature will allow you to search your browser history more easily and effectively. In Chrome’s settings menu, under the “You and Google” section, there is a new History Search option. This option offers a search function powered by AI. So, even when you’re browsing your history, AI will now help you.
New filters for browser history
This new feature offers new filtering and grouping options that you can use when searching your browsing history. For example, you can filter your history by date and get more detailed information. This is especially useful if you can’t remember the titles of web pages or exact keywords.
Let’s say you searched for a bread recipe last month but you don’t remember exactly what you were looking for. In this case, it can help you find the right results, even with general search terms. At the moment, it’s not yet clear exactly how this feature will work. However, it seems that this new search option of Chrome will be further enhanced with AI-powered data collection and analysis capabilities.
In particular, the use of the AI logo Gemini shows that the ‘Chrome history search’ feature will be really powerful. Google is optimizing this feature so that users can use it without difficulty. We’ll know more about this feature in upcoming beta releases.
With this new feature, it will be much easier to manage your browser history and find the information you are looking for. With Chrome AI-powered history search, you’ll now be able to quickly access those web pages you’ve been looking for but can’t find. You’ll also be able to better organize your browser history.
