Google Gemini Brings Revolutionary Innovation to Android!

Ana sayfa / News

Although Google Gemini, especially its Advanced model, offers a fairly stable experience, it still relies on Google Assistant for many tasks on mobile devices. As Google plans for Gemini to have a more prominent presence in smart devices, new features planned for the AI model have also been revealed.

Since introducing its AI-powered application Gemini earlier this year, Google has been rapidly developing it. However, it’s clear that Gemini has a long way to go before it can completely replace Google Assistant.

Currently, if you use Gemini as your default assistant on your Android phone, it will hand off some commands—especially those related to Google Home—to Google Assistant. This not only slows down the process noticeably but also negatively impacts the user experience.

Google has released Android 15 Beta 4.1: Stable release could be coming soon!

Google has released Android 15 Beta 4.1. What has changed with this small update? Details are here.

This major issue with Google Gemini is soon to be a thing of the past. The AI model, which already has extensions for Google Maps, Google Flights, Hotels, YouTube, YouTube Music, and Workspace, will soon integrate the extensions it previously had to “borrow” from Assistant.

Experts examining the beta version codes of Google app v15.29.34.29 have discovered that new extensions are being developed for Gemini, including ones for Google Home and the Phone app.

This development will allow the AI-powered chatbot to control smart home devices linked to your Google account. Similarly, Gemini will be used directly for features like taking photos, opening apps, and adjusting volume levels within the Phone app.

It seems Google is entering a new phase where Assistant will gradually yield the spotlight to Gemini. Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
