Google, which is working hard on artificial intelligence, does not forget its mobile operating system Android. According to a recent news, another innovation has emerged for the software that will receive the “Theft Protection” feature. Accordingly, a change that can improve the user experience for Android tablets is on the way. Here is the update about the Android taskbar…
Latest apps to be added to the taskbar on Android tablets
With the release of Android 12L in 2022, Google introduced a taskbar for tablets that allows users to quickly access their favorite apps. This taskbar, which is placed at the bottom of the screen, shows 6 user-selected apps and 2 recommended apps. This feature offers great convenience in terms of multitasking.
According to the information shared by technology editor Mishaal Rahman, some codes in Android QPR Beta 2 reveal that a change is on the way for this taskbar. With the new arrangement, it is stated that the 2 most recently used applications will be shown instead of the recommended applications.
Although this feature is already available on Samsung and OnePlus tablets, all users will be able to benefit from this innovation with the update Google will bring. So it should be noted that it is an important update.
For now, it is not known when Google will roll out the taskbar innovation for tablets. The current information is that the change is currently being tested. However, even though it is being tested, there is no guarantee that this update will be available for sure. More information is expected in the coming months.
