Google has undergone logo changes several times in recent years to keep up with the current trends. It has recently come to light that the company has also made changes to the icon of the Find My Device service.
Google is changing the Find My Device icon
Sometimes you may misplace an item, and tech giants like Apple offer products like AirTags to provide convenience in such situations. Google, on the other hand, offers a free service called Find My Device to help you track your Android device.
In addition to helping you track your Android smartphone or tablet, Google’s Find My Device service allows you to locate and lock your device in case it’s stolen. The mobile app icon for Find My Device is undergoing a change.
In the recent update, version 3.0.046-4 of Google Find My Device, it was revealed that the app icon has been updated to a new design featuring blue, green, yellow, and red colors. This new logo was first discovered in June of this year and appears to be rolling out soon.
Google is expected to introduce the refreshed app icon for Find My Device along with long-awaited new features. One of the most notable features is the ability to mark an Android device as lost.
This feature will allow users to receive information when a lost device sends a connection signal. Google is working on adding new features to Find My Device to compete with rival applications.
