Ana sayfa / Android

Google Messages continues to roll out new features regularly and shows no signs of slowing down; therefore, another upgrade is on the way. And this time, the feature it will receive will be different from previous updates. Here are the details…

Reliable leak sources have discovered a series of new features in the latest Google Messages beta version. Based on evidence, there are indications that the messaging app could receive some fun camera effects and an option to remove message preview drafts.

Google Messages has its own camera activity, an in-app camera function that doesn’t rely on your phone’s camera app. Now it appears that Google is working on some stylish camera effects for the messaging app, which you may be able to toggle on and off with a button.

Google Messages is getting a major update!

The beloved app Google Messages is rolling out an update that will completely change the user experience. Here are the details:

Once this feature goes public, you’ll be able to spruce up your photos with filters and cool effects to add extra fun to the camera interface. Additionally, Google Messages may remove the preview of draft messages from the main chat screen.

This innovation could make the app’s main screen look cleaner, but it may also hide a useful feature. According to Android Authority, this could be an innovation used by Google for internal debugging. In the next Messages update, Google might stop showing your top contacts when you tap on the search icon.

Typically, the “Contacts” section shows the people you’re chatting with frequently. However, according to the leak source, a potential change could completely remove this top contacts list. Last year, Google removed showing top contacts when starting a new chat in the app.

Now, it seems like the search giant could take it a step further and completely hide the top contacts section. If that evidence turns into an actual feature, finding message recipients might take a bit more time in the future. We’ll probably have to scroll through our contact list to find them.

Removing the top contacts section could seem nonsensical, but it’s uncertain which of these changes Google will keep permanently in the future. What are your thoughts on this? You can write your opinions in the comments section below.
