Google has released the Android 13 beta 4.1 version for its latest phone, Pixel 6a. The phone went on sale last week and is pretty much new. However, the company wants to give new Google Pixel 6a owners a taste of Android 13. Here are all the details.
Pixel 6a users can now join the Android 13 Beta
The Android 13 Beta 4.1 is the first Android 13 beta build for the Pixel 6a. According to the official changelog, the beta includes a few bug fixes with the June Android security update for Pixel 6a. The phone is not entirely eligible for the Android 13 beta program, but Google has added it for users who want to experience it.
Google hasn’t limited the first Android 13 beta only to the Pixel devices. It is also coming to several third-party Android phones. Here is the list of phones that receive Android 13 beta.

How to install Android 13 Beta?
The easiest way to install and use Android 13 Beta for your phone is the Android Beta Program. You should enroll to get the beta version.
- Go to the Android Beta program portal on your Pixel phone.
- Sign in to the Google account connected to that phone.
- Scroll down to your eligible devices.
- Find the device you want to enroll in the Beta program and tap Opt-in.
- Follow the prompts on your phone to accept the over-the-air download.
You can also use the Android Flash Tool, a web-based version of the ADB developer tool, to install the Android 13 beta for your phone.
- Go to the Android Flash Tool site on your browser.
- Allow the site to access ADB in your browser.
- Enable Developer Mode on your phone.
- Enable USB Debugging in the Developer Settings.
- Enable OEM Unlocking on your device.
- Plug in your phone to a USB port on your computer.
- Select the device from the pop-up and follow the instructions to install the beta.
