Google Pixel is getting the Adaptive Touch Sensitivity feature
The Android Police team, who examined the Android source codes, discovered a new feature for the Pixel family in the source codes of the new version. According to the code itself, it will allow the screen to adjust touch sensitivity based on environmental factors, activity, or whether a screen protector is applied to current and future Pixel phones.
Pixel 8 series screen protectors can be detected, and when a protector is applied, the system prompts you to increase touch sensitivity. However, Google will expand this feature in the Android 14 QPR3 Beta 1 version.
For example, when the weather is cold, your Google Pixel device will increase touch sensitivity, allowing you to use the phone with gloves. It is not yet known whether it will be supported on older Pixel phones or only on future phones. However, since Android Police found the string on a Pixel 8 phone and it already supports automatic screen protector detection, the Pixel 8 series will likely get this feature.
The Pixel 9 will have a third rear camera for the first time, allowing all users to enjoy a quality telephoto camera regardless of the size of the Pixel 9.
