According to the rumors from China, Google has decided to launch its first foldable smartphone called Pixel Fold or Pixel Notepad. The company showcased its upcoming high-quality smartphones, Pixel 7 and the Pixel 7 Pro, which can be rivals to Apple and Samsung. Here are the details.
Google Pixel Fold is coming!
Google is producing its first foldable phone, according to a post published by a tipster on a Chinese blog. With this claim, Google plans to be further than Samsung, thanks to the Google Pixel Fold. Indeed, this phone has two possible names: Pixel Fold or the Pixel Notepad.
According to Digital Chat Station, Google is collaborating with Foxconn in the process of manufacturing the new Google Pixel Fold/Notepad. A hidden code was discovered in the Google Camera 8.6 app with a featured icon of the foldable phone with an arrow showing how to close the device.
The tipster also said the foldable phone could have Google’s Tensor chip and a 5.85-inch display. The phone might have a closer design to the foldable Oppo Find N rather than the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 in terms of screen size. The Pixel foldable might also have a 12.2MP+16MP camera same as the Pixel 5.
Google is also working on the Pixel 7 series. Besides the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, there are rumors about the Pixel 7 Ultra. It could be a step above the Pixel 7 Pro with its features such as a 2K display and a ceramic body. It also might feature the 100MP Sony IMX787 camera sensor with a 50MP ISOCELL GN1 periscope camera.
