Today, Google held a major developer conference, where the company launched a lot of devices and products. One of the most significant devices at the conference is Google’s first foldable phone, Google Pixel Fold. The new foldable smartphone comes with great specifications, including the latest chipset, bigger display, and more. Here are the details about the specs and price of the Google Pixel Fold…
Google Pixel Fold has a gorgeous display
Of course, the display becomes the most important thing when we think about a foldable device. Google seems to achieve this rule on its first foldable device, Google Pixel Fold. The new foldable features a 5.8-inch FHD+ (2092x1080px) OLED external display with up to 120Hz, and a 7.6-inch (2208x1840px) OLED internal display with up to 120Hz refresh rate.
As the other latest Pixel devices, Google’s first foldable phone is also powered by the Google Tensor G2 Titan M2 security processor. Additionally, the Pixel Fold comes with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage options.
In terms of camera, the phone has a 48-megapixel Quad PD with OIS + CLAF, 10.8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10.8-megapixel dual PD telephoto camera on the back, while it features a 9.5 Dual PD on the front. Also, it has an 8-megapixel inner camera with fixed focus and f/2.0 aperture.
Compared to the new Pixel 7a, Google’s foldable device has fewer color options, Obsidian and Porcelain. The Google Pixel Fold can now be pre-ordered by paying $1,799 for the 256GB version, and $1,919 for the 512GB model. Moreover, Google offers a free Pixel Watch for pre-orders.
