Google has brought a major update to its AI-powered virtual shopping tool. Accordingly, users will be able to virtually try on both top and full-length clothes. This reveals how an outfit will look in different sizes and measurements with artificial intelligence.
Google will allow you to try on virtual clothes
This feature, first launched last year, allows users to use artificial intelligence to see a garment in different ways. With the expansion to dresses, shopping for clothes on Google will become more fun.
According to Google’s statement, when a dress is selected, it will be possible to see it in sizes ranging from XXS to XXXL with artificial intelligence. Users will be able to get an idea of how the dress will look before buying it. Different models can also be selected.
Of course, Google said that the dresses are much more elaborate in terms of pile, print and fabric. To overcome this, Google’s research team has developed a new training method called “VTO-UDiT” that targets lower resolutions.
Google has also partnered with fashion brand SIMKHAI. Users will be able to view and order their favorite dresses directly from SIMKHAI’s website. It should be noted that the experimental feature is available in the US for now.
Google’s virtual clothing tool aims to make e-commerce more interactive. It also seems to support fashion brands to sell more online.
