The company has now allocated a significant budget for renewed processors. However, there is a significant problem for for some Exynos processor phones currently on the market.

Google’s Project Zero security research team exposed an important risk with a published article. The article drew attention to a security vulnerability in some models. Google reported that it detected 18 active security vulnerabilities in Exynos processors and highlighted the models at risk.

Google today announced that there are 18 active security vulnerabilities on Samsung phones with Exynos processors, which make the phone vulnerable just by knowing the phone number. Among the models at risk is the Samsung Galaxy S22 series. The security team noted that this vulnerability has been known for a long time and it might be too late.

On the other hand, Google stated that it fixed the problems for Pixel phones with the March security update. The update reached the Pixel 7 series. This series is now said to be no longer exposed to these risks. However, the update has not yet arrived for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 7 series.
