Google has started to customize Android since the past years. The company, which first named the green Android mascot Bugdroid, has now launched the “Create Android Bot” tool. So how will this feature be used?
New service from Google: Create Android Bot
Google has introduced a new tool for Android users called “Build Your Own Android Bot” on its Android.com website. Based on the Androidify app, which has been very popular in the past years, this service allows users to build their own Android robot.
With the new tool on the Android homepage, users can customize the Android mascot with more than 25 basic materials. This includes solid colors, translucent materials, and fun patterns like tennis balls or wood textures.
Users can also choose from 20 different clothing options, from plain shirts to tuxedos and even astronaut suits. One of the yellow outfits, in particular, has been considered as a “Kill Bill” mascot.
In addition to the body and clothes, Google Bot Builder also offers accessories and hardware options to complement the customized Android robot. Thus, users can create their own customized robot.
Google named the Android mascot Bugdroid last year. The mascot, which served as the Android logo for a while, is now customized for users. You can use your customized mascot on your Android device with the “Create Android Bot” tool.
