Google has launched a new AI-powered platform for users making travel plans. The company, which has been offering affordable flight plans for years, is leveraging the power of AI with this new tool, Google Flight Deals.
Google Launches Flight Deals
Launched in beta in the US, Canada, and India, the platform is initially receiving user feedback. Google targets budget-conscious travelers with flexible travel dates. This service, which has not yet been officially launched in Turkey, responds to users’ natural language searches.
The flight deals platform operates in a chatbot format. Users type sentences indicating their desired destination, time, and method of travel. AI analyzes this information and lists the most suitable options. Users can also search using terms like “a place with a high-end ski resort” or “a city where a certain type of food is popular.”
This new step from Google further enhances the role of AI in the travel industry. This system goes beyond the limited filter options offered by traditional search engines, allowing users to enjoy a more personalized and intuitive search experience.
Instead of searching based on hard data, users can simply describe their dream vacation and get results. This makes the travel planning process more streamlined and easy. Google hasn’t yet announced a date for when the platform will finally be available to all users.
