The countdown for the Google Pixel 10 series has officially begun, but it appears not all models will be released at the same time. According to recent information, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be available later than the other members of the series.
Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold Release Date Delayed
Pre-orders for the Google Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL are scheduled to start on August 20, with these three models becoming available for purchase on August 28. However, the foldable Pixel 10 Pro Fold will be released later, with a new market launch date of October 9. This means users waiting for the foldable device will have to wait about six weeks after the official announcement.
All these products will be unveiled at the Made by Google event on August 20. In addition to the Pixel 10 series, the Pixel Watch 4 and Pixel Buds 2a are also expected to be showcased. It is rumored that these two products, like the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, will also experience a delayed release.
Google has not yet provided an official statement regarding the delay. However, it is speculated that the delay is due to technical challenges in production. The Pixel 10 Pro Fold will feature the new Tensor G5 processor. The redesign of the hinge mechanism and the IP68-certified durability may have caused complications during the mass production phase, leading to the delay.
