Xiaomi has announced that it is bringing Google Gemini’s image creation tool to select models. Xiaomi 14T series and Mix Fold foldable phone users can now take advantage of Gemini’s various features.

Developed by Google, Gemini can create high-quality images from text-based descriptions. Users can describe what they want to see in writing, allowing Gemini to produce realistic images. The integration provided by Xiaomi will allow users to experience it for free.
Xiaomi announced that it plans to bring Gemini not only to its new devices but also to older models. This move will enable artificial intelligence compatible with Android to reach a wider user base. However, no models other than the Xiaomi 14T series and Mix Fold were named.
Gemini currently supports Imagen 3 to create images. Imagen 3 is known to produce images with better detail, richer lighting and less artifacts compared to previous versions. Similar to other AI image tools, users only need to enter text.
However, there will also be some limitations to prevent certain types of content. In this context, Google refuses to create images of public figures or images containing hazardous materials. However, users were able to get around the limitations by identifying characters instead of using trademarks.
