Having been featured on Xbox Game Pass three times in the past years, GTA 5 is now on the horizon for PC Game Pass subscribers. A reliable source known for leaks related to Microsoft and Game Pass subscriptions has announced that the game will be available on Game Pass soon.
GTA 5 Will Be Available to PC Players
Previously added to the Xbox Game Pass subscription system and last removed at the end of last year, GTA 5 is set to return for the fourth and likely final time. However, this time, only PC players will benefit from the game.
Tez2, a well-known and reliable source in the gaming world with hundreds of thousands of followers, announced on their social media account that GTA V will soon be available to PC Game Pass subscribers. In response to a question, Tez2 also clarified that the game would be played via Rockstar Game Launcher, thus not supporting cross-platform play.
Of course, how much this development will excite players is another discussion. After all, GTA 5 was offered for free by Epic Games, and it has been over 10 years since the game was released on the PC platform. Therefore, the number of players who have not yet added GTA 5 to their library is likely very low.
From a commercial perspective, however, this move seems quite reasonable. Rockstar Games, which has been delaying GTA 6 to continue profiting from GTA Online, will now maximize its revenue by offering the game to Game Pass subscribers.
