GTA V grossed $800 million on its first day. On the third day, the company’s profit reached 1 billion dollars. As of today, more than 160 million copies have been sold. It reached at least 2-3 times more with cracked, illegal versions.

So when will GTA VI (6) be released? According to recent leaks, it is said that the Rockstar team has been working on this project for about 8 years (since 2014) and has made the most significant transfer of funds ($600 million) here.

The cost of the game continues to increase. Because Rockstar Games hired new employees such as animation experts, designers, 3D designers, photogrammetry experts and animation programmers for its worldwide studios to speed up the process. The total number of personnel to be recruited is 233.

But it won’t be on sale anytime soon. Analysts point to 2024. As the process is accelerated, it may go on sale at the end of 2023. However, the company did not receive the expected attention from the remake of the trilogy. So they can take things slow.
