Having made a splashy debut, action-adventure game Helldivers 2 is rolling out another major update. This is expected to address many of the issues that players have been complaining about. Arrowhead Game Studios, the developer, has been working tirelessly day and night to stabilize the game. CEO Johan Pilestedt claims that Helldivers fans will be greeted with an entirely new game. Here are all the details…
Helldivers 2 is being crowned with a new update
Helldivers 2 is being crowned with a new update. The most significant improvement expected with the update is related to server capacity. The servers, unable to handle the tremendous number of players, were increased to 450,000 recently. However, this number has proven insufficient, prompting a decision to raise it to 700,000. This is anticipated to result in significantly reduced wait times for users, saving them more time during gameplay.
Additionally, many users have been complaining about stability issues. Some players reported not receiving rewards for certain missions or being disconnected from the server outright. The upcoming update is expected to be a remedy for these issues. Furthermore, there are plans to address controller problems. All of these changes are aimed at significantly improving the user experience.
Helldivers 2, available for PC and PlayStation platforms, has unexpectedly achieved great success. Some Xbox owners, however, have initiated a large-scale petition campaign for the game to be released on Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles. Whether they will succeed in this endeavor remains to be seen.
