Apple has finally released the historic iOS 17.5 and iPadOS 17.5 updates. The new versions come two months after iOS 17.4/iPadOS 17.4. For users in Europe, it includes support for sideloading (APK installation) and more.
What’s coming with iOS 17.5?
Apple is unlocking the App Store with iOS 17.5. With the new update, iPhone and iPad owners will be able to download apps directly from the developer website.
iOS 17.5 will introduce offline support for Apple News+, allowing users to access the daily feed and News+ content even when they are not connected to the internet. This will allow users to read the content they want when they don’t have an internet connection.
Another important innovation is cross-platform tracking notifications. iOS and iPadOS users using Bluetooth detection will be alerted when they approach any tracking device. This will reveal AirTag owners who can track the user.
- Step 1: First, open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Step 2: Go to General > Software Update.
- Step 3: Download the new update.
- Step 4: Once the update has downloaded, you can start the installation.
Updates are now available globally. However, it may take a few days to come to all models in our country.
