Honda America, on the other hand, after examining the assembly error in question, realized that the error was at a level that would affect driving safety. In this sense, Honda America identified the models with the rack mounting problem for Civic models. It was also revealed that the problem was seen especially in the recently produced 2023 and 2024 models. In this sense, Honda America has also improved its assembly, control and approval processes.
Accordingly, the company called vehicle owners to Honda Authorized Service points for the problem experienced in 176,410 models. The services will inspect the Civic models in question and replace the part if necessary.
