Competition in the smartphone world continues to increase. Technology giant Apple almost left its mark on the sector again with the iPhone 15 series, which was introduced at the Wonderlust event held on September 12. However, some of its competitors are also tongue-tied.
Honor CEO claims Apple is not innovating much and is still making bar phones
Honor today unveiled the Honor V Purse, a foldable smartphone concept with a futuristic design that was previously teased visually. Honor CEO George Zhao gave an interview at the event. Honor CEO made statements about iPhone 15.
Zhao said that Apple is only focused on improving performance and camera quality. He argued that Apple is not using the popularity it has gained and not innovating much, saying that Apple is still making bar phones that are just for show.
In addition, Zhao argued that Apple’s abandonment of the Lightning input and return to USB-C and the use of periscope lenses will not harm them, but said that the iPhone 15 series will still break sales records. So much so that the demand for the series, which is still on pre-sale in some countries, confirms this promise.
Ming-Chi Kuo, known for his Apple news, reported that the series, which went on pre-sale on Friday in some countries, attracted intense interest. Accordingly, pre-sales of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the strongest player in the series, exceeded the number of pre-orders of its predecessor in the first three days.
