This year, Honor launched a lot of new devices and flagships into the Android market. Today, the company unveiled its flagship tablet, the Honor Pad V8, after the Pro model at the end of last year. The new tablet comes with significant specifications and the latest technologies, including MediaTek Dimensity 8020. Here are the details about the specs and price of the Honor Pad V8…
Honor Pad V8 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8020
The most distinguishing feature of the new tablet is its chipset. The Pad V8 is the first device to use MediaTek’s Dimensity 8020 processor, which is a 6nm chip with 4x Cortex-A78 at 2.6GHz, 4x Cortex-A55 at 2.0GHz CPU cores, and a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. Additionally, Honor launched the new device with 8GB of RAM, and 128GB or 256GB of storage options with a microSD slot.
The vanilla model Honor Pad V8 comes with an 11-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and the same 2,560 x 1,600px resolution as the Pro model. Moreover, the tablet is a bit smaller than the Pro model in terms of display and battery. The device has a 7,250mAh battery with 22.5W charging, while the Pro model has 10,050mAh with 35W charging.
According to the announcements, the device runs the older Android 12-based MagicUI 6.1 with the Wi-Fİ 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 features. The tablet can be paired with a Magic Pencil 3 stylus or a Magic Keyboard or both. It is now available in brown and gray color options with a vegan leather on the back.
