In the shadow of the sanctions imposed on Huawei, Honor, which separated from the Chinese company in recent years, is now presenting itself to users without being hindered by sanctions. In this context, the Chinese manufacturer continues its efforts to increase its market share with phones from every segment. Recently, the introduction date and technical specifications of the Honor Play 8T model were revealed.
Honor Play 8T’s launch date and features
A poster shared on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo reveals the features and introduction date of the upcoming Honor Play 8T model. According to this information, the smartphone will be unveiled on October 18, which is tomorrow.
The smartphone is said to feature a perforated screen with up to 850 nits of brightness, a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, and a 6,000 mAh battery. Additionally, it will come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Of course, it is worth considering the possibility of more memory and storage options.
Rebranding among Chinese manufacturers is quite common. Considering that the device is likely a rebranded version of its predecessor, the Play 40 Plus, it can be said that the upcoming Play 8T will have a similar relationship with the Play 50 Plus. In other words, although the designs of the two smartphones may be different, their technical specifications will largely be the same.
