Honor Power 2 phone mimics iPhone 17 Pro with huge 10,000 mAh battery

A leaked promo poster has kicked up conversation around Honor’s rumored mid-range phone mostly because it looks suspiciously like an iPhone 17 Pro. While the brand hasn’t confirmed the device, the visual similarities and battery size are already grabbing attention… and a bit of mockery.

The image, shared via Weibo, shows the supposed phone in three colors, one of which appears lifted straight from Apple’s palette. Camera layout? Nearly identical. Branding? Absent on the back, further blurring lines. Social media users have wasted no time pointing this out one comment quipped, “Honor has no honor.”

While the design choice is making noise, the real standout is the battery. The device is expected to come with a 10,000 mAh battery, a feature Honor seems to be doubling down on for 2026. It’s not alone other phones like the rumored Honor Win and X80 are tipped to ship with the same oversized power cell.

Honor Win phones bring extreme battery and 185Hz OLED to mobile gaming

Honor launches gaming-focused Win and Win RT phones with Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 185Hz OLED, and a massive 10,000 mAh battery.

According to reports, this iPhone-style device could be the upcoming Honor Power 2 or Power Pro 2. A handset carrying the model number SER-AN00 has surfaced on Geekbench, revealing a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chip clocked at 3.4GHz. That processor aligns with mid-range targets and could power the mystery clone.

There’s still no word on whether this device will hit international shelves. The previous Power model never made it beyond China, so a global release remains uncertain. That might frustrate or relieve some fans, depending on where they stand on the copycat design.

Either way, if the poster is legit, Honor’s clearly betting on battery life and banking on a familiar silhouette. Whether that’s bold or bland will depend on who you ask. Some see competition; others see a clone.
