Honor, following its gaming-focused flagship models, has accelerated preparations for its new high-battery capacity model, the Power 2, which is expected to be released in early 2026. The device has appeared in Geekbench performance tests with the model number “SER-AN00,” showcasing its technical capabilities.
Honor Power 2 Performance Test Results
The test results confirmed that the phone will use the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, which has not yet been officially announced. The new processor architecture consists of a 3.40 GHz main core, three 3.20 GHz performance cores, and four 2.20 GHz efficiency cores. On the graphics side, an eight-core Mali-G720 MC8 unit is in charge.
With a single-core score of 1,532 and a multi-core score of 5,632 in the performance tests, the device positions itself as a strong contender in the upper-mid segment. The prototype tested appears to have 12GB of RAM and will ship with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16.
This up-to-date software build suggests the device will offer long-term usability. On the visual side, the Honor Power 2 features a 6.79-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under-display optical fingerprint reader technology is also included.
The device’s main differentiator lies in its energy efficiency and capacity. Expected to come with a massive 10,080 mAh battery, the phone optimizes charging time thanks to 80W fast charging support.
The camera setup includes a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front, and a 50-megapixel main camera and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle secondary sensor on the back. Managing to remain approximately 8mm thick, the phone offers an ergonomic design despite its high battery capacity.
The Honor Power 2 is planned to be introduced in January 2026 with a starting price of approximately $305. Color options include midnight black, snow white, and sunrise orange. Developed internally under the codename “Saber,” this model aims to eliminate the need for constant plugging, especially during heavy use.
