Honor will allegedly add multiple smartphones to its lineup in the coming months. In fact, information coming out of China showed that it is working on several new foldable phones. Among these devices is an affordable model that will be called the Honor Magic V2 Lite.
Honor Magic V2 Lite comes with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1
Last month, Honor launched the Honor Magic V2, which it says is the world’s thinnest foldable phone. New rumors suggest that Honor is working on more foldable models.
According to sources, Honor is developing the Magic V2 Lite version, which will be a more affordable variant of the Magic V2. The Lite version will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It is also reported to be priced around 700 dollars. This reflects a pretty big price difference compared to the $ 1250 Magic V2.
Another reported device is the Magic V Slim, which will be foldable outwards. As you currently know, the hinge of foldable models is on the outside and the screens bend inward. Magic V Slim, on the other hand, will open outward with the opposite design and will allow the screen to grow.
It was stated that Honor could unveil its new foldable models at the IFA 2023 event on September 1. It seems likely that the company will use this event to promote its phones in the global market.
