Microsoft is counting down for its highly anticipated operating system Windows 12. The company, which laid the foundations of the new operating system with Windows 11, wants to use artificial intelligence support, one of the most popular trends of the last period, with the new operating system.
Expected Windows 12 update will be artificial intelligence supported
Microsoft has been working on its next update for some time. The name of Windows 12 has not yet been confirmed. According to the latest report, the next major Windows release, codenamed Hudson Valley, is in the works to make a big splash.
The anticipated new version will have AI support integrated into all parts of Windows. The AI-powered update will allow natural language queries and create a timeline of the content being displayed.
In the report revealed by Zac Bowden from Windows Central, how the natural language query will work is explained with an example. For example, if you say “Find the file I worked on last Sunday”, Windows will be able to understand and process the command. The feature, referred to as advanced co-pilot, can remember the content you are looking for and create a timeline.
In addition, AI is said to improve game and video quality. It will do this in a similar way to what Nvidia offers with DLSS and RTX Video Super Resolution. In fact, it’s already been reported that AI will be a big part of the next Windows release. However, there was no information on how much support it would be.
