Huawei introduced the new version of its own operating system, HarmonyOS. HarmonyOS 6 was presented to the public at the Developer Conference held on June 20. In the new version, the operating system has been updated with artificial intelligence-based functions.

The biggest change in Huawei’s new software is the structure called Intelligent Agent Framework, which is placed at the center of the system. This system activates the digital assistant XiaoYi, which enables a more human-like interaction with the user.
XiaoYi scans content on the screen and gives context-appropriate answers to the user. It is seen that this system works in a structure similar to Google’s “Circle to Search” feature. Huawei also showed the different usage areas of HarmonyOS 6’s artificial intelligence infrastructure in its presentation during the conference.
Excel files can be processed through the application called ChatExcel. Developers can get help in application development processes through the same assistant. Another striking feature that came with the new version was “Touch and Share”.
This function allows multiple file sharing between some Huawei phone and computer models with a screen contact. A game connection can also be established through the same system. The feature currently only works between Huawei devices.
Huawei has launched the developer beta process for HarmonyOS 6. Developers can register for the program until June 30. Those who want to join the program must complete identity verification through the Huawei Developer Association.
