Huawei is coming to finish NVIDIA in AI!

Ana sayfa / AI

Huawei has upshifted gears in the artificial intelligence race and set its sights on NVIDIA’s seat. The company, which wants to open a new page in the Chinese market, wants to become the largest artificial intelligence chip manufacturer in its own country. In this context, Huawei stated that the Ascend 910C chip can compete with the NVIDIA H100.

According to the latest reports from sources close to Huawei, the company has sent its customers information about the Ascend 910C AI processor, which is scheduled for release in early October. In the product description, the company claimed that it performs the same as the NVIDIA H100 chip.

This will put a lot of pressure on NVIDIA, a leader in AI and deep learning chips. NVIDIA is also unable to sell AI chips like the H100 in China due to security concerns. This could facilitate Huawei’s growth.

Electric Vehicle Made a Mistake! Company Says “Call Your Insurance”

In China, the owner of an electric vehicle was involved in an accident due to a system error while in automatic parking mode.

Unable to sell in China because of the US, NVIDIA faces new competition from Huawei. The company has become a new target for Chinese customers in sectors such as internet, telecommunications and technology. Among the first users of the Ascend 910C are giants like ByteDance, Baidu and China Mobile.

The move also reflects Huawei’s investment in circumventing sanctions that cut off its access to American technology. Production delays and possible new restrictions could hamper Huawei’s ambitions.

As geopolitical tensions escalate between the US and China, Huawei is trying to bring domestic technologies to the forefront. Only time will tell whether China’s semiconductor future will include foreign companies like NVIDIA.
