Huawei is strengthening its presence in the foldable device market. It has been learned that the company is now in the process of developing a foldable tablet after its foldable screen laptop model. Although it has not been officially announced yet, leaked information about the project offers clues about the device’s design philosophy and potential usage areas.

It has been reported that the new tablet will have a screen size of approximately 12 to 14 inches when opened. This size provides the user with a wide viewing area, while offering an advantage in terms of portability as the device takes on a more compact structure when folded.
The possibility of a cover screen that allows basic functions to be maintained when the tablet is closed also stands out. The company has so far presented various designs with different hinge structures and folding directions.
Many variations have been developed, from vertically hinged phones to models with inward and outward folding screens; from wide-screen phones to PC-shaped devices. On the other hand, Huawei will also be on the agenda with a new foldable phone model called Mate X7 in the second half of the year.
It is known that this device will be equipped with one of the Kirin series processors developed by Huawei. However, there is no clear data shared about the hardware features and the exact release date.
