Huawei has reached a critical threshold in the process of creating its own software ecosystem. According to the statements of the company’s senior executive Richard Yu, the first smartphone running completely based on HarmonyOS will be introduced next week. It is stated that this model will be the first Huawei device that works completely independent of the Android infrastructure.
Huawei Pocket 3 will break new ground with its operating system
According to the latest information, the model in question is expected to be Huawei Pocket 3. Developed under the code name ‘Verde’, the device is rumoured to have a foldable design with a clamshell and will have a lighter and more compact structure compared to the previous model.
It is stated that the inner screen will be 6.28 inches and the outer screen will be 3.5 inches, and the screen ratio is determined as 3:2. This ratio indicates that the device can offer a wider usage area compared to other foldable models.
It was claimed that the product will have a large sensor main camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels. It is also suggested that the device will offer extra protection features such as water and dust resistance and will come with a side integrated fingerprint reader.
It is not yet clear whether the name of the new model will be Pocket 3. It is claimed that Huawei may prefer a different name.
