Huawei is continuing its work on the successor to last year’s Watch GT 5 series. The Chinese brand is set to unveil the Huawei Watch GT 6 lineup in the near future. Until now, no details had surfaced about the upcoming smartwatches—but that has just changed, as the first key information has emerged.
Huawei Watch GT 6 to Launch in September or October
According to reliable industry insider Digital Chat Station, the Huawei Watch GT 6 series is expected to debut in September or October, alongside the brand’s upcoming tri-fold phone, the Mate XT 2.
The Watch GT 6 series will reportedly come in two case sizes: 41mm and 46mm. Each version will offer a wide range of color options. The 41mm model, codenamed “Kinsu,” is said to come in gold, purple, brown, white, and black. The 46mm variant, codenamed “Atum,” is expected to be available in gray, brown, silver, titanium, green, and black.
It’s currently unclear whether these color options apply to the watch cases or just the straps. Notably, last year’s Huawei Watch GT 5 series was also offered in both 41mm and 46mm sizes, suggesting that the new lineup won’t feature any major design overhauls.
