Aito M9 SUV will be introduced in December
Chinese electric car startup Aito has started mass production of the M9 SUV at its Seres factory. Aito, which unloaded the first M9 models from the assembly line, plans to make the official launch in December.
The M9 SUV is 5.23 meters long and has a wheelbase of 3.11 meters. It should be noted that it will be slightly larger than the Mercedes Benz GLS in terms of size.
The vehicle will allegedly be offered with two powertrain options. One of them will be a twin-motor all-electric version producing 390kW and 530 hp, while the other will be a 40kWh battery model that delivers 365kW and a range of 167 km.
Aito M9, which is expected to compete with luxury brands in China first, is planned to go on sale in December. With a price tag starting at 68 thousand dollars, it is possible to say that it will attract attention in the market.
It should be noted that Aito also has two other SUV models, the M5 and M7. However, the production at the 700 thousand production capacity Seres factory shows that the M9 will be the most remarkable model so far.
