The countdown has begun for HyperOS, which will replace the MIUI interface. Xiaomi will initially introduce the new structure with the Xiaomi 14 series, and due to the extensive product range, the company has prepared a comprehensive distribution schedule after lengthy efforts. According to recent reports, three popular models are expected to receive the HyperOS update.
Xiaomi will release HyperOS update for three popular models
According to a report shared by Xiaomiui, the HyperOS update based on Android 14 will be released for POCO F5 Pro, Xiaomi Pad 6, and Xiaomi 11T. The update, with version numbers OS1.0.1.0.UMNMIXM, 1.0.1.0.UMZCNXM, and OS1.0.1.0.UKWMIXM, is expected to be rolled out by the end of this month.
Xiaomi HyperOS is expected to offer more customization on the lock screen with new watch styles, fonts, wallpapers, and widgets. The control center will have a cleaner and more modern design compared to the previous version MIUI 14. While the app icons remain similar, there is an overall improvement in consistency.
Another notable detail with the new version is the amount of space Xiaomi HyperOS will occupy on phones. According to the Chinese company’s claim, the structure is approximately 8.75 GB in size, providing a significant advantage in storage compared to competitors.
HyperOS is expected to consume less power and run more smoothly on lower memory compared to its predecessors. This implies an open door, especially for Xiaomi’s older and hardware-limited products.
