PlayStation’s legendary games continue to come to today’s platforms. Accordingly, it was claimed that Devil Summoner, which was published by SEGA for PlayStation 2 years ago, will come to PC. It was stated that remastered versions are being prepared for both games.
Devil Summoner HD collection seen on Steam
The Shin Megami Tensei series is set to return. Two games developed by Atlus and published by SEGA in the 2000s have appeared on Steam as HD collections. It is possible to say that the games, which are still in development, have made a sound.
It was observed that Atlus made various innovations on its profile on Steam. Shin Megami Tensei III: Devil Summoner for Nocturne HD Remaster: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. the Soulless Army and Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzonoha vs. King Abaddon achievements.
This means that Atlus is planning to bring its old games to today’s platforms. The games, which had a real-time combat system, attracted attention with their feudal Japan atmosphere. Raidou Kuzonoha, the hero of the series, also appeared as a guest character in the Nocturne remaster.
The new development aims for Atlus to revisit the relatively lesser-known Devil Summoner games that are connected to Nocturne. After Soul Hackers 2 failed to live up to expectations, it is also thought that the company wants to gauge interest in the Devil Summoner series.
Following big titles like Persona 3 and Shin Megami Tensei V, the Devil Summoner HD collection could be a big hit on Steam. The Raidou Kuzonoha collection is likely to be announced at the Tokyo Game Show next week.
