Android users receive numerous notifications throughout the day from the Google app. However, manually clearing these sometimes annoying notifications can be quite a hassle. With the latest update to the Google app for Android, users will now be able to control their notification history.
The Google app for Android will consolidate notifications under one roof!
The Google app for Android often sends frequent notifications about topics it knows you’re interested in. However, these notifications can bother many users due to taking up too much screen space. But a new feature is coming to allow you to manage notifications related to topics such as match results, weather updates, and traffic conditions.
Google has released a new update for Android users. With this update, a new feature that has been available for iPhone owners since iOS 17.1 will now also be available on Android devices. Notifications brought by Google’s update will be consolidated, allowing you to view unread notifications later.
Furthermore, the oldest incoming notification will be positioned at the top of the list. Additionally, recent screen captures have revealed an interesting detail. According to the images, it will be possible to arrange notifications from oldest to newest. This customization can vary according to the user’s preference.
When you tap the three dots next to accumulated notifications, three options will appear: delete, stop sending notifications of this kind, and provide feedback. These options enable users to personalize their notifications even further.
