The Infinix GT 20 Pro gaming phone launches with a gorgeous display and monster specs. Powered by the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor, the phone features a 144 Hz display. Let’s take a look at its other technical specifications.

Following the introduction of its first gaming phone last year, Infinix is once again introducing a gaming-focused phone with the new Infinix GT 20 Pro. The Infinix GT 20 Pro closely follows the design of its predecessor, the GT 10 Pro. The giant camera module and large lens covers are still there, but the rear side adds new sets of LEDs that produce eight color combinations and four lighting effects.

The device is 8.15 mm thick and weighs 194 grams. It comes in three interesting color options: Mecha Blue, Mecha Orange and Mecha Silver. The device also comes with IP54 rating for splash water and dust resistance.

The display on the GT 20 Pro is significantly improved over the previous version. The AMOLED panel now measures 6.78 inches and the refresh rate has increased from 120 Hz to 144 Hz.

Inside the GT 20 Pro is a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate processor. It’s also a gaming-focused device, so Infinix has used a new graphics processing unit, the Pixelworks X5 Turbo, for a better gaming experience. Combined, the two deliver frame rates from 60fps to 120fps. It also features a larger VC Liquid Cooling system compared to its predecessor.

Mercedes-Benz will not support Apple’s next-generation CarPlay! Here’s why

At WWDC in 2022, Apple introduced the next generation of CarPlay and it was known that Mercedes-Benz would support it.

Last year, the company only sold the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage configuration in the GT 10 Pro, but the GT 20 Pro also comes in a new 12 GB RAM variant. The device again has a 5,000 mAh battery capacity and support for 45W fast charging.

The cameras are unchanged, the GT 20 Pro has a 108 MP primary camera and is flanked by two 2 MP cameras. On the front, the device uses a 32 MP lens for selfies. For video, the phone supports 60fps at 4K, up from 30fps.

The camera doesn’t matter much for this device as it’s a gaming phone. Still, while the company has announced the device, pricing and availability are yet to be disclosed, although we’ll likely hear more in the coming weeks. What do you think?
