Infinix Smart 8 is powered by MediaTek Helio G36 SoC
Let’s start with the specifications of the newest affordable smartphone. The Infinix Smart 8 gets its power from the MediaTek Helio G36 SoC with IMG PowerVR GE8320. Also, the phone comes with only an option of 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM (+4GB of Virtual RAM) and 64GB of eMMC 5.1 storage option. Moreover, the Smart 8 runs Android 13 GO Edition-based XOS 13 out of the box, and it has a 5,000mAh battery.
When we look at the display of the phone, we can see that Infinix‘s new smartphone features a 6.6-inch (1612 x 720 pixels) HD+ resolution with a 90Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the entry-level device comes with a 50-megapixel main camera with AI lens on the back, while it has an 8-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash.
On the back, there is a Magic Ring that offers Face Unlock, Background Call, Charging Animation, Charge Completion Reminder, and Low Battery Reminder. The Infinix Smart 8 will be released in Timber Black, Shinny Gold, Galaxy White, and Rainbow Blue color options. It is set to be accessible on Flipkart from January 15th, with a pricing starting at Rs. 7,499.
