Instagram introduces the ability to share live streams with a limited audience

Instagram announced on Thursday that users will be able to broadcast live broadcasts only to their Close Friends list. The new “Close Friends on Live” feature allows users to broadcast live with up to three people.

Instagram states that this new feature can be used to share what’s on their minds, meet up with friends spontaneously, share humor, plan trips, do homework together, or just hang out casually in real time.

Instagram launched its live streaming feature in 2016, but it was always intended to be public and open to anyone who followed you. The feature is widely used by celebrities and influencers as a way to connect with their fans. But for regular users, opening up live streaming to everyone who follows you may not be appealing.

With this new feature, Instagram allows users to have control over who can see their broadcasts, which may encourage those who haven’t used the feature in the past to give it a try.

The launch of the new feature shows that Instagram is pushing towards more private and curated connections on its platform.

List of all Netflix series coming out in 2024

Netflix made a grand entrance in 2024, bringing new seasons of old favorites and new hit series to viewers. Here is the list!

Late last year, the company introduced the Notes feature, which allowed users to update using only text and emoji. Users can post a note that will appear at the top of their friends’ inboxes for 24 hours. Instagram sees the feature as a way for users to start conversations with friends in a light and private way.
