Instagram continues to develop Reels. While TikTok was recently banned in the US, the company wants to bring its short video service to the forefront. In this context, a feature called Spins is being tested for Reels.
Videos will become even more viral with Reels Spins
According to a new feature, Instagram has started developing a feature called “Spins” for Reels, the TikTok alternative. The feature, called Spins, will allow users to publish another person’s Reels video by changing the text or audio. This will allow trending videos to spread to a wider audience.

Social media posts also discussed how this feature could be used. For example, a user can post a video like “Me on Monday mornings”. Then, thanks to Spins, other users can produce different scenarios using the same video.
A screenshot of the feature being tested internally showed that users will have the option to turn the feature on and off before publishing each Reels video. This will allow the owner of the video to control its content.
Spins will be different from the Remix feature currently offered on Instagram. With this service, multiple users can make videos responding to each other. The new feature will allow Reels to spread personalized videos to more accounts.
