Intel Arc Support Arrives for Crimson Desert!

Ana sayfa / News

Crimson Desert is back with a significant update following its troubled launch on March 19. When the game was first released, it sparked a major controversy by not supporting Intel Arc graphics cards. Developer Pearl Abyss had initially surprised players by stating that these systems were not supported. However, the situation changed when Intel intervened, clarifying that they had contacted the studio long before the launch to offer support. Following this communication gap, the studio apologized and announced that it had rapidly begun optimization work for Arc cards.

Intel XeSS 3.0 and Official Support Added to the Crimson Desert

Twenty-three days after the game’s release, the 1.03.00 patch has finally added official Intel Arc PC support. With this update, Pearl Abyss did not stop at offering basic hardware support; Intel XeSS 3.0 and Intel XeSS Frame Generation features, which improve image quality, have also been included in the graphics options. Considering that frame generation technology is not yet standard in PC gaming, this step stands out as a highly innovative development for hardware owners.

The development team emphasizes that compatibility and performance across various Intel graphics cards will be further improved over time. There are currently some known bugs in the released version. According to the patch notes, Arc A-series users may experience screen distortion when activating XeSS 3.0 or frame generation features. Additionally, it is noted that A770 owners may face crashes when using XeSS, and A750 users might encounter crashes in the city of Hernand.

New Graphical Settings and Console Enhancements

The new patch is not limited to Intel hardware. The PC update package also includes AMD Radeon Anti-Lag 2 support, noise fixes for DLSS Ray Reconstruction, and new detailed graphics settings such as “Displacement Scale” and “Detail Decorative Mesh.” On the console side, Enhanced Raytracing has been introduced for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, while a PSSR Sharpness setting has been made available for the PS5 Pro.
