Intel has come out with an update that will make gamers happy. The new graphics drivers provide significant performance boosts for both integrated graphics units (iGPU) and discrete graphics cards (Arc Alchemist). For a little more FPS in games, Lunar Lake iGPUs get a performance boost of up to 24%. Arc Alchemist graphics cards also get the update, offering up to 20% better performance.

The new 32.0.101.6127 WHQL and 32.0.101.6044 Non-WHQL drivers support a wide range of Intel’s 11th generation processors up to the latest Lunar Lake processors. The performance boosts that come with this driver update are not just general improvements, but also game-specific optimizations.
For example, if you’re playing Assassin’s Creed Mirage, you can expect 24% higher FPS on Lunar Lake iGPUs. Likewise, popular games like Core Keeper and Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered also see noticeable FPS increases. In fact, Arc Alchemist GPUs perform 11% higher in Core Keeper at 1080p resolution and 13% higher at 1440p.
Of course, this update is not just about performance boosts. Intel has also fixed some bugs. For example, issues with the Endurance Gaming feature have been fixed, as well as performance improvements in apps like Final Fantasy XVI and 3DMark Wildlife.
However, there are still some lingering issues. For example, image flickering in Vulkan when playing Doom Eternal, crashes during some benchmarks in Blender, and visual distortions in 8K AV1 encoding in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Another interesting detail is that the new driver package is 1.4 GB in size. This is because the drivers are bundled to cover both Arc and Lunar Lake iGPUs. For now, this package size seems to be temporary, but it’s worth noting that users downloading these drivers will need extra storage space.
Intel also has an important caveat when making this update: If possible, opt for customized drivers from your device manufacturer. These drivers are optimized specifically for your device and tested to provide a more stable experience. But for those who don’t want to give up generic drivers, this new driver package is also very attractive.
