Intel is officially scrapping Deep Link technology!

Ana sayfa / News

Intel has announced that Deep Link technology, which it developed to enable CPU and GPU components to work more efficiently together, will no longer be supported. The company announced that the feature is technically still workable; however, it has been completely removed from the development process. Deep Link will not receive any updates or improvements from now on.

Deep Link was introduced with Intel’s Alchemist graphics architecture and offered a structure that aimed to provide a smarter workload sharing in the system. The Dynamic Power Share technology at the core of this system optimized the power distribution between the CPU and GPU according to the current load status of the computer.

The Hyper Encode and Hyper Compute modules offered within the scope of Deep Link also offered additional efficiency, especially in video encoding and artificial intelligence-based operations. In this way, it was aimed for users to achieve both faster and more balanced system performance in different work scenarios.

However, as of 2025, Intel officially announced that Deep Link is no longer included in active development plans and that no software updates will be made for this technology from now on. Although it is technically possible for the feature to still be available, it will now be considered a “dead feature” as there is no support for it.
