Intel Panther Lake processors will support up to 16 cores

Ana sayfa / News

Intel is preparing to enter the scene with its new processor series, Panther Lake, which will meet the expectations of gamers and those looking for high performance. Panther Lake processors are planned to be produced in the company’s own factories. Therefore, it is possible that costs will decrease.

Panther Lake processors will be offered in four different configurations, and one of the most striking features of this series is that it offers support for up to 16 cores. Four of these cores are designed for high performance, while the rest are designed with energy efficiency in mind.

Designed specifically for high-performance users, the versions will feature four high-performance cores, eight energy-efficient cores, and four low-power cores. This architecture will make Panther Lake an ideal solution for gaming notebooks and compute-intensive applications.

The Panther Lake-U processors are optimized for thin and light notebooks with a 15W power limit. This will provide high efficiency and low power consumption for portable devices. On the other hand, the more powerful Intel Panther Lake models will have a base power of 45W. It will offer a great advantage especially for high-performance tasks.

The new generation processors will be produced using Intel’s 1.8nm class 18A manufacturing technology and will be assembled in the USA. So, how effective do you think Intel’s Panther Lake processors will be in the market? Can the performance and efficiency offered by the new processors meet user expectations?
