Every year, Apple releases new software updates. And for this year, iOS 16 will be released in September. Of course, the company prepares many new features to add to this software. We learned most of them earlier, but there are also new ones. Let’s check them.
Protect your hidden and recently deleted albums with password
The hidden album in the Photos is not hidden because you can see all photos by opening them. With iOS 16, Apple transmits password protection to this album and hides it all. You can keep your photos hidden and locked with a password or Face ID. You can keep your sensitive photos away from being seen.
When you want to see your hidden photos, you can easily find them in the remote part of Albums and open the album with your password or Face ID. Since anyone, which uses your phone, can change its visibility and see your sensitive photos. Apple blocks this situation with iOS 16.
Copy and Share Wi-Fi Password
Apple now allows iOS 16 owners to share their Wi-Fi passwords with other people. When you place two Apple devices near each other, it should work automatically. If it doesn’t work, you can copy it from the settings.
To copy and share your Wi-Fi password, go to Wi-Fi settings and tap the “i” button at the end of the connected network. When selecting the password section, you will use your Face ID orpasscode to see the password. Then, you can copy and share it with other people.
