iOS 17 usage rate did not surpass iOS 16
According to official announcements, the adoption rate of iOS 17 has not surpassed iOS 16. Looking at the download rates, iOS 17 is currently used on 77% of all iOS devices.
According to information on the Apple Developer site, almost 80% of iOS devices are using the latest version. Although the download rate is high, we can see that iOS 16 reached an 81% download rate at the same time last year.
Looking at iPhone models released in the last four years, iOS 17 is installed on 86% of these devices. At the same time last year, iOS 16 had a 90% usage rate.
