iOS 17 Developer Beta version accidentally released
Normally, Apple required users to log in with their Apple ID to participate in the Developer Beta program. However, due to an issue, everyone with iOS 16.5 now has the ability to download the iOS 17 Developer Beta version.
While normally, being a registered developer is necessary to use this version, the issue has made the iOS 17 Developer Beta version active for some individuals who are registered in the Beta program. It is currently unknown whether this situation applies to everyone. Additionally, there are reports of a similar issue occurring with WatchOS 10.
Although this may be the case, we do not recommend installing the iOS 17 Developer Beta version if you are not a developer. We must mention that there are many issues and bugs in the operating system during this testing phase. The early stages of the operating system will likely have low performance, errors, crashes, missing features, and more problems.
We can also say that Apple will likely fix this issue in a short period of time. On the other hand, it remains unknown what awaits users who accessed iOS 17 without being registered in the Developer Beta program once this issue is resolved. Therefore, we advise non-developer users to wait for the general Beta version.
