Some iPhone users who installed Apple’s new iOS 18.1 Beta update have started complaining that Siri is not working. Many users are seeing a “Siri not available” message on their screens when they try to use Siri. So, what caused this? Details in our news…
Siri stopped working on many devices with iOS 18.1 beta update
According to complaints from users who installed the iOS 18.1 update, it was understood that warnings such as “Siri data is being downloaded” or “Connect to Wi-Fi” appeared on the screen. In fact, some users reported that the download was constantly stuck at 99% and Siri became completely dysfunctional.
This annoying issue has been widely reported on social media platforms and forums like Reddit, X (formerly Twitter). While a large portion of Apple users are experiencing this issue, some are reporting that they are not experiencing any issues with the iOS 18.1 Beta version.
So this issue doesn’t affect all iOS 18.1 Beta users, but it still seems to be a widespread problem. Users have tried various solutions, but none of them worked. Especially in cases where Siri data is not downloading or the download is stuck at 99%, even classic solutions like restarting the device or resetting network settings have not been effective.
More advanced solutions, such as disabling Apple Intelligence features, have also failed to resolve the issue. Apple is expected to make a statement on the issue, but for now it seems difficult for beta users who want to use Siri to find a solution.
