What new features will iOS 18.2.1 bring?
iOS 18.2.1 is expected to focus on bug fixes and addressing security vulnerabilities rather than introducing major features. However, Apple has not provided specific details about the issues this update will resolve. It is highly anticipated that the update will be available by the end of December or early January.
As you may recall, iOS 18.2 was released earlier this month, introducing several new features exclusive to iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models. Highlights included Genmoji, Image Playground, Siri’s ChatGPT integration, and the ability to share AirTag-supported luggage locations with certain airlines via the ‘Find My’ app, which garnered significant user interest.
In addition to iOS 18.2.1, Apple is also testing iOS 18.3 with developers and public beta users, and its release is expected in January. However, this update is also said to include only minor changes.
