Apple Intelligence, introduced with iOS 18, will be available in beta in the US towards the end of 2024. This feature will help iPhone users make their devices more personalized. Artificial intelligence offers support in many areas, from users’ writing habits to their ability to summarize texts, while Siri better understands user preferences and helps with richer language perception.
With the new update, the Photos app will be able to automatically organize users’ archives by subject. Archive management becomes much easier with the “Pinned Collections” feature, where you can easily find photos of your dog or your last trip with a single tap.
In the Messages app, it is now possible to add animated effects to all letters, words and emoji. Another noteworthy innovation is the new “Send Later” feature to schedule messages for a later date.
Safari automatically highlights important information on a page with the new Featured feature. This makes it much faster and more convenient to find relevant people or content while browsing. In addition, the redesigned Control Center allows users to customize control groups and quickly access the features they use most often.
Another important innovation in iOS 18 is Game Mode. This mode minimizes background activity to maintain a high frame rate, resulting in a smoother and more seamless gaming experience. It also minimizes latency with AirPods and controllers for faster and more efficient gaming performance.
Apple places great importance on privacy and security. With the new update, personal data shared with apps will be more tightly controlled, giving users full control over their data. Improved Privacy and Security settings will also make it easier for users to manage how much information they share with which apps.
